The crash occurred at approximately 11:53 p.m. when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a gate on the North Lawn of the White House. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
This is the second time this year that a vehicle has crashed into the gates of the White House. In January, a driver crashed into a security barrier near the White House, but no injuries were reported in that incident.
