Second miracle clears path for sainthood for teen computer whiz

ROME – Pope Francis has recognized a second miracle attributed to the intercession of Blessed Carlo Acutis, clearing the way for the teen computer whiz to be canonized as a saint.
The miracle recognized on Thursday is related to a woman from Costa Rica who was suffering from a serious illness. After praying to Acutis, she was miraculously cured.
Acutis, who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, is known for his love of computers and his use of the internet to spread the Gospel. He is considered a role model for young people, and his life can be used to show how the internet can be used for good.
